About Beehive Interactive

You will be at the forefront of our product development, working across the entire stack. You won't just be writing standard CRUD apps; you will be architecting systems that serve thousands of users while deeply integrating Large Language Models and AI toolchains.

The Role & What You'll Build

Modern Full-Stack Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and Next.js.
AI Integration: Designing and implementing AI-powered features using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek) and modern AI Agent frameworks.
Intelligent Systems: Building and maintaining robust RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) knowledge systems and working with Vector Databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.).
Advanced Tooling: Developing and integrating MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers to connect AI models with our core infrastructure.
Performance & Architecture: Building scalable REST APIs, managing databases, and optimising frontend performance for exceptional user experiences.

What We're Looking For

Experience: 1+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of deploying production applications independently (Bachelor's in CS or a related field preferred).
The Core Stack: Deep proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Next.js, alongside strong HTML5/CSS3 skills.
Database Mastery: Solid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset for code reviews, and the ability to learn emerging tech rapidly.
Nice-to-Have — AI Coding: Familiarity with or completion of Claude Code exercises is a major plus!
Nice-to-Have — Ecosystems: Python development, Django, or Django REST Framework.
Nice-to-Have — AI Frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex.
Nice-to-Have — Infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Nice-to-Have — Architecture: Event-driven systems (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka) or SaaS product experience.
